Flu shot clinic set for Sept. 18

By Sharron Hudson | millsapnews@mineralwellsindex.com

MILLSAP – With autumn officially beginning Sept. 22, the National Weather Service has predictions posted.

This official government site, plus other very credible sources, show that most Texas temperatures will be above normal and it will be a wet fall. There will be some stormy conditions, with possibility of some tornadoes in neighboring Oklahoma. During the second week of November there will possibly be snow flurries in every region except the Pacific Northwest. With all of this in mind we can make better plans and preparations for September through November.

While winter brings some great things with it, unfortunately it also brings the flu. But prevention is on the way with the Millsap ISD Community Flu Vaccination Clinic. It is Tuesday, Sept. 18, 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m. The cost is $10 and free to children 18 years and younger. Those with Medicare are free, but must present their card.
