Texas Bullets win season opener, 33-14

WACO – The Texas Bullets of Mineral Wells defeated the Waco Predators in the season opener, 33-14. 

The Bullets were lead by running back Ray Sneed, who scored three touchdowns. Garrett Kubena and Mike Armstead also scored for the Bullets.

The Bullets next contest will take place Saturday in Keller against the Fort Worth Avengers. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The stadium is located at 9450 Ray White Road in Keller. 

The Bullets will return home the following week against the Vernon Texans on March 9th. Kickoff for that game will be at 7:30 at Ram Stadium.

    With Mineral Wells High School head cross country/track coach Jackie Harvey instructing recent Rams and Lady Rams track greats Lorenzo Johnson, Adrian Colbert and Maricela Castillo, and recently, current MWHS trackster DaShawn Hicks, one could say that incredible talent was the reason these four athletes qualified at the state level, with Johnson and Colbert earning state championships.
