Lady Rams, Rams win at Diamond Hill

MINERAL WELLS — FORT WORTH - Paced by a double double each by Ricky Scott and A. J. Williams, the Mineral Wells Rams won their District 6-3A opener, 64-43, over the Diamond Hill Eagles here Friday night.

Scott finished with 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Williams scored 11 points while pulling down a game-high 14 rebounds.

The Lady Rams raised their 6-3A record to 3-0 after a 85-23 win over the Lady Eagles.

Kennedy Shelstead led the Lady Rams (19-5) with 22 points, with Sydney Shelstead adding 20.

Also, Niya Benavides and Pamela Hopkins each finished witrh 16 points.
