Sydney Shelstead scored 26 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead the Mineral Wells Lady Rams to a 64-39 victory over Azle Tuesday afternoon at the MWHS gym.
The win raises the Lady Rams' record to 2-3.
In the second contest of the daytime varsity doubleheader at the MWHS gym, the Mineral Wells Rams' comeback fell short in a 57-52 loss to Fort Worth Country Day.
The loss drops the Rams to 2-1.
