— After falling 25-21 in the opening game, Kennedale stormed back with wins of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-14 to defeat the Mineral Wells Lady Rams Tuesday night in a District 6-3A volleyball match at the MWHS gym.
The loss evens the Lady Rams' district mark at 3-3, while Kennedale moves to 5-1.
Kelsey Garland recorded eight kills to lead the Lady Rams, with Niya Benavides and Sydney Shelstead each with seven.
Kennedale's Lexi Anderson led all hitters with 16 kills.
In sub-varsity action, the Lady Rams junior varsity won fell in three games, as did the MWHS freshman team.
