Mineral Wells Rams coaches along with Texas high school football coaches across the state will convene in San Antonio tonight for the Texas High School Coaches Association annual convention.
The THSCA 80th Annual Coaching School – which runs through July 1 – marks the beginning of a new high school football season. The Rams will have its first 2012 practice on Monday, Aug. 6.
Coaches will begin arriving in San Antonio today for registration, and although there will be a concussion symposium workshop in a professional development lecture by Dr. Bud Curtis, Dr. Tim Palomera and Dr. Eliot Young, and a NCAA Division I college coaches panel discussion, most of the seminars and clinics will be Monday and Tuesday at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center.
