Mineral Wells High School basketball teams swept Lake Worth Tuesday night in District 7-3A action as the Lady Rams rolled to a 51-31 win over the Lady Frogs in the season finale, and the Rams stay atop the district standings after a 64-52 victory over the Bullfrogs.
Matt Tincher led the Rams (7-1) with 20 points while grabbing 12 rebounds, and Hunter Fincher added 11 points. MWHS forward Mikevin Singletary finished with a game-high 16 rebounds.
Niya Benavides scored 15 points to lead the Lady Rams (3-7), with Megan Powell adding 13.
In sub-varsity action, the Rams junior varsity fell, 60-57, while the freshmen boys won, 58-32.
The Lady Rams JV cruised to a 30-17 win, while the Lady Rams freshman team blew out Lake Worth, 49-22.
