District champs down Lady Rams in 4

SPRINGTOWN - District 6-3A champion Springtown defeated the Mineral Wells Lady Rams, 25-11, 24-26, 25-9, 25-18 here Tuesday night in a league volleyball match.

The loss evens the Lady Rams' district mark at 4-4, while Springtown - which clinched the district title last week - moves to 8-0.

The Lady Rams can clinch a playoff spot with a win Friday at home against Lake Worth. First serve will be at 5 p.m. at the MWHS gym.

Springtown also swept sub-varsity action Tuesday afternoon.
