Lady Rams travel to No. 7 Springtown

In the first meeting between the Mineral Wells Lady Rams and the state-ranked No. 7 Springtown Lady Porcupines, the Lady Rams fought tooth-and-nail with the District 6-3A leaders but fell in four games.

The combined margin in the three games lost were just 13 points, and indicator each contest could have gone either way.

Although Lady Rams head coach Taylor Eggleston was proud of the way her team raised its level of play, she was equally disappointed that the girls “could not finish” against Springtown.

The two teams square off again at 6:30 p.m. today at Springtown.
