Diamond Hill next for Rams

Last week’s loss to Lake Worth did not eliminate the Mineral Wells Rams from the playoff hunt, but it did make that task a little more difficult.

The Rams (4-3, 1-1 in 6-3A) can clinch a playoff spot – and a share of the district championship – by winning their last three District 6-3A games, the first of which is at 7:30 p.m. today against Diamond Hill at Fort Worth ISD’s Handley Field.

The Rams could reach postseason play under a few scenarios, but they still control their own destiny. The playoff picture will get less muddled after today when Lake Worth faces Springtown and Kennedale plays Castleberry.
