Lady Rams win 6-3A finale

MWHS waits for playoff opponent

FORT WORTH - Sydney Shelstead sent down a match-high 14 kills and Kelsey Garland added six to lead the Mineral Wells Lady Rams to a 25-16, 25-20, 25-16 victory over the Diamond Hill Lady Eagles here Tuesday night in the District 6-3A volleyball finale.

The win gives the Lady Rams a final district record of 6-4, while Diamond Hill finishes at 0-10.

The Lady Rams will open the 2012 playoffs against Burkburnett or Iowa Park.
