Three area basketball teams will highlight the action at this year's Santo Invitational Basketball Tournament beginning Thursday. Among the local squads set to play in the tournament are Santo, Millsap and Graford.
The Santo Wildcats will lead off the local boys' action on Thursday afternoon when they square off against Bellevue in the opening round of play. The Wildcats' game is scheduled to tip-off beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the SHS gymnasium.
The Millsap Bulldogs will follow Santo onto the hardwood, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Millsap is slated to open the tournament against the Lingleville Cardinals.
Beginning at 7:30 p.m., Graford will begin its quest to capture the tournament crown by facing off against the Hico Tigers.
Graford will face either Millsap or Lingleville in the second round of the tournament, while Santo will draw either Jacksboro or Fort Worth Country Day.
Jacksboro and Country Day open the boys' bracket action beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The boys' championship game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
