Rams roll over Joshua 101-77
Hunter Fincher scored 29 points and Skyler Flaska added 23 more Friday evening and powered the Mineral Wells Rams to a 101-77 rout of Joshua.
Mineral Wells, now 2-0 for the season, also picked up double-digit performances from Zack Nicklas, Dillon Wilkins and Kenyon Calcote. Nicklas tallied 12, while Calcote and Wilkins both pumped in 11.
The Rams blew the game open in the second quarter. After battling to a slim 26-21 lead in the first quarter, Mineral Wells went on a 39-22 run in the second and never looked back.
The Rams took a 65-43 lead into the half.
MWHS host Crowley tonight beginning at 4:30 p.m.
