Marvin Johnson scored 20 points and Aaron Cedillo added nine to lead the Mineral Wells Rams freshman team to a 53-35 win over Lake Worth Tuesday in the District 6-3A finale at the MWHS gym.
The win leaves the Rams with a final 8-2 record in district play.
Also scoring were Triston Seargeant with six points, Z Beard with five, Nigel Benavides and Jarred Burson, each with four, Branson Sanchez and Matthew Lawhon, each with two, and Keith Stafford with one.
Rams JV evens record with win
Mark Glover scored 16 points, Conner Bradshaw added 13 and Coy Barrick finished with 11 to lead the Mineral Wells Rams junior varsity to a 73-39 blowout victory over Lake Worth Tuesday in the District 6-3A finale at the MWHS gym.
With the win, the Rams finish the district slate with a 5-5 mark.
Also scoring were Braxton Allen and Justin Hendrickson, each with nine points, Tanner Newsom with six, Dalton Mitchell with five and Devon Edmond with four.
