PERRIN – Frost held off a late Perrin charge as the Polar Bears outlasted the Pirates, 27-21, here Friday on Homecoming Night at Pirate Stadium.
The Pirates seemed to have run out of time when quarterback Josiah Cansler scored on a draw play with five seconds left to play.
But the real story was a pair of costly turnovers in the second half that sealed Perrin’s fate.
The loss drops the Pirates to 3-2, while Frost stays unbeaten at 6-0.
