Shelstead named Lady Rams' hoops coach

Former Krum girls’ assistant basketball coach Edward Shelstead has been hired to become the new Lady Rams head basketball coach, it was announced Tuesday at the MWISD board of trustees regular meeting.

Shelstead, also a successful summer select league head coach, was chosen among 30 applicants for the job vacated by Betsy Baughman, who left to take the head girls’ basketball coaching position at class 5A Amarillo Tascosa.
