FORT WORTH – Piling up 461 yards of total offense and scoring through the air, on the ground and on special teams, the Mineral Wells Rams kept their playoff hopes alive after a 57-0 strumming of Fort Worth Diamond Hill Friday night in a District 6-3A tilt at Handley Field.
The win lifts the Rams to 5-3 overall, but more importantly, 2-1 in district play.
The Rams can not only clinch a playoff spot by winning their final two league games, but also a share of the district championship.
