Jennifer Hipol, Reagan Patterson each record 3 hits

Jennifer Hipol and Reagan Patterson each swatted three hits to lead the Mineral Wells Lady Rams to a 12-2 win over Vernon Tuesday night at Kessler Field in a contest stopped by run rule.

Patterson had a home run and a pair of singles, while Hipol registered three base hits.

The win lifts the Lady Rams to 6-0.

Krysten Marr was the winning pitcher for MWHS, allowing a run on two hits while striking out two in four innings. Allie Stephens pitched the final two innings, allowing one run on three hits with three strikeouts.
