Kennedale sweeps MWHS hoops teams

KENNEDALE - Both Kennedale varsity basketball teams defeated Mineral Wells in girls' and boys' District 6-3A action here Tuesday night.

In their district finale, the Lady Rams fell to the Lady Kats, 77-49. Kennedale ends the district slate at 10-0, while the MWHS ladies drop to 6-4.

The Lady Rams will play next in the bi-district playoffs, tentatively set for Tuesday, Feb. 12, with tip time, opponent and location TBA.

The Rams fell to 5-3 in district play after falling to the Wildcats, 84-50. MWHS will play next at 8 p.m. Friday at Castleberry.
