VENUS – The Millsap High School Bulldogs did what they do best Friday night. They won.
The Bulldogs, powered by a dominating running attack, hammered out a tough 13-6 road victory over Venus. Millsap rushed for more than 100 yards in the non-district matchup.
With the victory, the Bulldogs ran their season record to 3-0, and remained one of only two unbeaten teams left in the Mineral Wells area.
The win set up a showdown with rival Perrin-Whitt this Friday. The Pirates moved to 2-1 with a win over Frost.
