Strawn rolls past Eden; Gordon falls

J.T. Sharp rushed for three first quarter touchdowns Friday and led the Strawn Greyhounds to an easy 62-8 win over Eden.

Luis Elizondo, Trey Doyle and Josh Regino also scored offensive touchdowns. Victor Reyes returned a fumble for another SHS score.

With the win, Strawn improved to 2-1 for the season.

The Gordon Longhorns didn't find things any easier in Week 4 of the season. The Longhorns suffered a 48-0 loss to No. 2-ranked Richland Springs on Friday.

Both games were called at the half due to the six-man 45-point mercy rule.
