BROWNWOOD – Mineral Wells senior Sydney Shelstead threw a winning mark of 121 feet to place first in the girls’ discus competition here last week at the Bluebonnett Relays.
The top varsity finisher for the Rams was senior Jacoby Prestwood, who earned a bronze medal in shot put with a toss of 43 feet, nine inches.
Also, Lady Rams junior varsity thrower Kera Harrison erne a gold medal in shot put with a winning throw of 30 feet.
