Gordon, Strawn advance in six man playoffs

Mineral Wells Index

In six man, second-round playoff action, Gordon defeated Savoy, 66-21, and Strawn downed Jayton, 54-8, as the two Palo Pinto County schools advance in the six man football playoffs.

Gordon advances to the state quarterfinals and will play Santa Anna.

Strawn also advances to the state quarterfinals and will face Newcastle.
