Wet grounds at Pratt Field force move

Wet grounds from weekend rains have forced the Mineral Wells Rams baseball team to change venues for their 2012 season-opening game against Bowie that was set for today at Pratt Field.

The game is switched to Bowie, with the junior varsity game at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity contest at 7 p.m.

The Rams will be home for three straights days begining Thursday as part of the North Texas Tournament. The Rams will face Graham at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pratt Field and will host Fort Worth All Saints at 4 p.m. that same day.

Continuing tournament play on Friday, MWHS will host Springtown at 11 a.m. and Lindale at 4 p.m. On Saturday, the Rams will face Kennedale at 11 a.m.
