Steers run past Rams in opener, 53-7

GRAHAM – Graham scored 21 points in the first quarter and never looked back as the Steers defeated the Mineral Wells Rams, 53-7, here Friday night in the 2012 season opener.

The Rams, plagued by errant snaps, penalties and turnovers in the opening half, were down 34-0 at the break, but showed improvement on offense and defense in the second half.
