Lady Rams send down 38 kills in sweep over Southwest in home opener

With three new hitters added to the roster in 2012, the Mineral Wells Lady Rams had hoped to dominate at the net in each and every match.

Friday night in their home opener against Fort Worth Southwest, they did just that.

New hitters Shay Douglas, Sydney Shelstead and Kennedy Shelstead combined for 17 of the Lady Rams’ 38 kills as MWHS cruised to a 25-16, 25-19, 25-22 victory over the Lady Raiders.
