Texas Football shows no love for Rams

The annual “Bible of Texas high school football,” otherwise known as Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Magazine, has hit the newsstands, and the publication has shown no love for our Mineral Wells Rams.

Now before I rip into the magazine all of us football fans eagerly anticipate each summer, I can understand why it predicts the Rams will finish in third place in the new District 6-3A.

In case you missed the news, the Rams, along with Castleberry and Lake Worth, have been moved from 7-3A to 6-3A and will join Fort Worth Diamond Hill, Kennedale from far southeast Tarrant County, and our neighbor from Parker County, Springtown.
