Lady Rams place second at tourney

GLEN ROSE – With a full roster of players for the first time this season, the Mineral Wells Lady Rams volleyball team finished a strong week with a second-place finish at the competitive Glen Rose Tournament.

The Lady Rams swept in poll play on Thursday, winning three games. MWHS came back home on Friday and defeated Fort Worth Southwest, and on Saturday the Lady Rams got revenge from an earlier loss to Glen Rose with a 25-20, 25-23 win over the Lady Tigers.

MWHS also defeated Bangs, 25-8, 25-7, to reach the championship match.
