Fowler wins girls’ 6-3 A meet; both MWHS teams qualify for Region I meet

ARLINGTON – Mineral Wells Lady Rams’ runners Karessa Fowler and Alex Pearcy finished first and second, respectively, here Wednesday at the District 6-3A cross country meet at Vandergriff Park.

The Lady Rams won the district championship with 33 points and qualified for the Region I track meet Nov. 3 in Lubbock. The Rams placed second with 47 points and also qualified as a team for the regional meet.
