Clark Gardens 2012 Half Marathon and 5K were held Oct. 6 with a record number 325 entries competing in the two races.
The races, presented by Palo Pinto General Hospital, hosted runners and walkers from as far away as Switzerland.
Also, the Mineral Wells High School boys and girls varsity and boys junior varsity golf team competed at the Northwest tournament.

Three Gordon boys’ relay teams, two Strawn boys’ pole vaulters and a Millsap girls’ distance runner all competed Friday and Saturday at the University Interscholastic League State Track and Field Meet at Mike Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas.
