Lady Rams come back to defeat Glen Rose in four

Many times in high school sports, good teams don’t always start off fast, but they finish with a flurry to gain victory.

Down a contest in a best-of-five non-district volleyball match against Glen Rose Friday afternoon, the Mineral Wells Lady Rams stormed back to win three straight games to take a victory over the Lady Tigers at the MWHS gym.

The Lady Rams dropped the first game, 25-19, then fought back to square the match with an identical 25-19 count. MWHS followed with a 25-23 win in game three, and clinched the match with a 26-24 victory in game four.
