The final phase of the Mineral Wells Rams’ offseason will be relegated to the weight room as the team has completed seven-on-seven competition for the summer.
Rams head coach Chuck Lawrence was pleased with the work of projected starting quarterback Dan Reay Turk and the rest of the MWHS receivers and backs, and he is excited to go into the 2012 season with the largest offensive line he has had in the past three years.
The Rams completed “spring football” workouts in late May, and in addition to the seven-on-seven competition, Turk and other QBs have been calling their own voluntary practices to work on pass patterns and a rapport between the quarterbacks and receivers.
