The driver of a large construction vehicle was transported to Palo Pinto General Hospital from the scene of a rollover crash Monday afternoon.
The incident happened shortly after 12 p.m. on U.S. Highway 281 North, about two miles north of State Highway 254.
Precinct 5 Constable Gary Morris was at the scene and explained the driver was the only individual involved in the crash.
Witnesses who saw the truck traveling north shortly before the rollover, reported the driver appeared to be having difficulty maintaining control of the truck, Morris added.
He said the driver was taken to PPGH for treatment of apparent facial injuries.
The truck was described as a digger belonging to Chapman Construction.
