Semi-pro football team the Texas Bullets will have tryouts Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m., at their new home, Ram Stadium.
Every position is open, from linemen to cornerbacks, and returning players must try out as well, according to owner/player Jeremy Puckett.
Registration starts at 1 p.m. and tryouts begin at 2 p.m. The cost to try out for Mineral Wells’ new football team is $15, which includes a Bullets’ T-shirt.
Those interested in trying out must be 18 years or older. Prospective players need to bring their own cleats and wear shorts, depending on the weather – the team will provide the shirt. For more information on the team, call (817) 707-8630.

Cleburne declared disaster area after strong storms
