'Taste' winners named

Anonymous Mineral Wells Index The Mineral Wells Index Thu Jul 26, 2012, 08:20 AM CDT

The Mineral Wells Senior Center on Saturday hosted a most successful “Taste of Palo Pinto County” event at Holiday Hills Country Club featuring samples of culinary delights from area restaurants and food vendors.

After sampling the various dishes, desserts and concoctions, the votes were counted and the winners were:

• Best Appetizer – first place, Fuzzy’s Tacos; second place, Holiday Hills Country Club.

• Best Dessert – first place, Mineral Wells Senior Center; second place, Steak Shed & Paradise Pizza.
