According to Mineral Wells police, a number of property crimes were reported over the past several days.
• An unknown suspect reportedly entered a residence in the 300 block of Harvey Road and removed cash, shoes and perfume valued at a combined $385. According to a burglary report filed Sept. 19, the suspect made entry into the home through either a previously damaged front door or broken window.
• A global positioning device, cellular phone and two bowling balls were taken from a vehicle in the 2500 block of S.W. 6th Avenue, according to a burglary report filed Thursday.
• According to a report filed Thursday, a laptop computer, backpack and a small sum of cash were taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 800 block of N.W. 1st Avenue.
• Police recovered a vehicle Friday on North Oak Avenue, one day after its owner reported it stolen. Reports indicate the vehicle was left unlocked, with its keys inside, in the 500 block of S.W. 4th Avenue Thursday. The vehicle was found unoccupied around 11 p.m. Friday.
• Two firearms, approximately 20 knives and a coin collection, valued at a combined $2,600, were taken from a residence in the 3800 block of U.S. Highway 180 East, according to a report filed Friday. The complainant reportedly returned home to find the front door of the residence standing open.
• According to a burglary report filed Saturday in the 2900 block of N.E. 2nd Street, someone siphoned about one-fourth of a tank of gas from a vehicle parked at the location.
• A theft report filed Monday in the 200 block of N.E. 27th Avenue indicates the owner of a vehicle left $450 in the console of a vehicle left at a auto detailing business. The complainant told police the cash was missing upon picking up the vehicle Monday.
