Although Mineral Wells won’t likely see names like Cee-Lo, Adam Levine, Christina or Blake Shelton, a version of “The Voice” is coming to town Saturday in the Mineral Wells Pythian Sisters’ Voice Competition.
The operative phrase is, “You may take the stage … but can you keep it?”
The Pythian Sisters are still seeking sponsors and auction-item donations and are selling tickets for Saturday’s event at Holiday Hills Country Club. The program begins at 6 p.m. and competition goes until 11 p.m.
Tickets are $35 for individuals or $60 for two and include dinner and lively entertainment. The event also includes a live auction.
Proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels, Palo Pinto Challenge, the Mineral Wells Optimist Club, First United Methodist Church Back-Pack Buddies program, First Christian Church Food Bank and the local unit of the Salvation Army.
