Three teens were arrested for allegedly throwing rocks at passing cars in the 500 block of East Hubbard Street around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
They reportedly chipped the paint of a passing vehicle and police found them in the same area when they responded to the call.
Police said the victim decided to pursue charges.
A 16-year-old was reportedly released to juvenile probation and turned over to his mother.
Jacob Michael Roden and Joseph Allen Cruz, both 17 year olds from Mineral Wells, were arrested and transported to the Palo Pinto County jail for criminal mischief, more than $50, less than $500.
Prescription forgery
A doctor’s office on Holly Hill Road called police Monday morning to report a pharmacy in Mineral Wells called them to report several forged prescriptions from a former employee at the doctor’s office, police said.
According to the police report, the former employee refilled a prescription of phentermine, a class 4 controlled substance, using the doctor’s forged signature for the past three months.
Burglaries
• A burglary of a residence in the 300 block of N.E. 27th Street was reported about 4 p.m. Monday, according to police. Though the door to the house was found locked and there were no signs of forced entry, the resident reported a bottle of over 100 hydrocodone pills and a bottle of over 50 Soma pills stolen, police said. The medications were reported stolen between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to the report.
• Three speakers, valued at $250, in a 1994 GMC pickup were reportedly removed from the vehicle parked the 300 block of N.W. 4th Street between 3 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday.
• A .22-caliber pistol was reportedly stolen from a residence in the 900 block of S.W. 28th Street between Dec. 15 and Dec. 18, police said.
Arrests
Mineral Wells police reported making the following arrests:
• Julius Manford Johnson, 17, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Friday for theft, less than $50, after he was allegedly caught shoplifting at a store in the 600 block of Farm-to-Market Road 1821 North.
• Leslie William Carr, 45, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Friday for public intoxication.
• Ricky Ray Sampley, 31, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Saturday on a warrant for parole violation.
• Daniel Earl Medlin, 36, of Palo Pinto, was arrested Sunday for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to signal a turn and on a warrant for failure to signal lane change.
• Jesus Tijerina, 31, of Palo Pinto, was arrested Sunday for possession of a controlled substance after the vehicle Medlin was driving was stopped for a traffic violation.
• Christopher Douglas Knight, 32, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Sunday for public intoxication after police received a call about a fight in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 2500 block of East Hubbard Street. One suspect left but Knight reportedly went into the bathroom before police found him.
• William David Tamayo, 18, of Mineral Wells, was arrested Tuesday for public intoxication.
