The car ended up at 45-degree angle in the center of the two west bound lanes.

Newsom allegedly drove his white Jeep into a guardrail, according to police.
He refused to give a breath or blood sample for testing, police said, so they requested a warrant Friday morning.

While the officer was attempting to put the girl in the back of the police vehicle, police said she escaped custody and ran.
