Local musician and songwriter Stan Crawford is going on tour to promote his “Crazy Water” CD. And he is partnering with the makers of Crazy Water to kick off the tour at – where else – the home of Crazy Water, Famous Mineral Water Company.
Crawford will appear at Famous Mineral Water Company, 209 N.W. 6th St., at 5:30 p.m. tonight when he will sing a few songs and autograph free bottles of Crazy Water for everyone who attends, said Carol Elder, Famous Mineral Water Company co-owner.
Elder notes the CD's title track “just happens to be all about our water and Palo Pinto County, throughout Texas.”
The “Crazy Water” tour includes performance and autograph sessions in retail grocery markets, local radio guest appearances and night venues throughout Texas.
“We will educate, entertain and enlighten people across the state of Texas on the best offerings of Mineral Wells and the county,” Elder said. “We are very excited about our partnership with Stan and our grocery retailers.”
After Thursday's kickoff, Crawford will appear this weekend at the Via Colori Festival in Houston. The tour includes appearances at markets in Colleyville, Dallas, McKinney, Flower Mound, Frisco, Round Rock, Rollingwood and Austin.
