School is still out for students, but that sometimes means even more to do for those tasked with repairing and renovating area schools during summer break.
According to James Bradford, maintenance director for the Mineral Wells Independent School District, the department's 17 employees must be prepared for anything during the summer months.
“It comes in spurts,” he said, explaining students often find unusual ways to vandalize or steal school property.
