Dorothy Dowler is back at it and at 7 p.m. on Tuesday the Millsap resident will present her artistic talents in a painting demonstration for the Mineral Wells Art Association.
Tuesday’s meeting is free and open to the public and Dowler will show how to paint using layers to obtain visual depth on a two-dimensional canvas.
The 34-year teacher holds masters’ degrees in education and arts and sciences from Oklahoma State University and studies drawing and ceramic sculpture at the Kansas City, Miss., Conservatory of the Arts.
In recent years, Dowler has shared her enthusiasm and skills in painting with fellow members for the MWAA. The MWAA is located at 204 S.E. 3rd Ave.
