Police report arrests, property crimes

According to Mineral Wells police, several property crimes were reported over the past several days.

• Two saws, a laptop computer and bag valued at a combined $475 were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of N.W. 6th Street, according to a report filed Saturday.

• A burglary report filed Sunday in the 600 block of Harvey Road indicates someone entered a residence and took two tablet computers, two video gaming consoles and approximately 45 video games. Reports state the screens were removed from three windows on the home.

• A laptop computer, wallet, leather portfolio and digital camera valued at a combined $1,200 were reportedly taken from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Carl Kessler Boulevard. The complainant reported the burglary Sunday after discovering the back window of the vehicle was broken.

• Police received a theft report from a business in the 3100 block of U.S. Highway 180 East Monday. Reports indicate a clerk left a cellular phone on the counter to tend to a customer and returned to notice it was missing. The phone is valued at $250.



Arrests

• Police responding to a retail theft report in the 100 block of S.E. 17th Avenue identified one of two female suspects. A clerk at the business advised authorities the two females concealed merchandise in their purse.

Officers arrested Amanda Jean Glover, 21, of Mineral Wells, at the scene and charged her with theft between $50 and $500.

• Two alleged highway racers were arrested Tuesday evening in the 1100 block of S.E. 1st Street. According to reports, officers observed two vehicles racing in the area and conducted traffic stops on both vehicles.

• Curtis Anthony Grazioli, 23, of Mineral Wells was arrested and charged with the second-degree misdemeanor of racing on the highway and 16 MWPD warrants. Cody Joseph Garvin, 19, of Mineral Wells, was arrested and charged with racing on the highway.
