The drivers of two vehicles involved in a multi-car collision Monday were transported to Palo Pinto General Hospital to receive treatment for injuries.
According to Department of Public Safety Trooper Gary Rozzell, the crash happened around 5:24 p.m. near the intersection of U.S. Highway 281 North and Farm-to-Market Road 2270.
Rozzell said a 2011 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by Donnie Ray Watkins, 50, of Mineral Wells, arrived at the intersection heading north on U.S. 180 and was waiting for oncoming traffic to clear before turning west onto FM 2270.
The second vehicle, a 2007 Toyota Tundra pickup driven by Kenneth Doyle Howell, 53, of Mineral Wells, arrived at the same intersection and stopped behind the F-250.
