According to Mineral Wells police, several property crimes were reported over the past weekend.

• Police received the report of a forgery in the 2500 block of S.E. 6th Street Friday. According to the report, someone stole and forged a number of checks associated with an inactive account and was able to pass two checks for a combined total of about $400.

Vehicle leaves U.S. 180, smashes into tree
