Sleepy driver, passenger injured

By CHRIS AGEE

Two teenagers were transported to Palo Pinto General Hospital following a one-vehicle crash Sunday in the 3800 block of U.S. Highway 281 North.

According to Department of Public Safety Sgt. Jeffery Poole, Kieren Pae, 18, of Poolville, was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro northbound along U.S. 281 when he drove off the roadway, traveled over a private drive and became airborne before flipping.

Reports indicate Pae told authorities he fell asleep prior to the crash.

Pae and his passenger, Bailey Duvall, 19, were taken to PPGH for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries, Poole added.

According to reports, no charges have been filed against the driver.
