PPC Champ wins Jr Reserve Champ at Denver’s National Western Show

Zane Mauney, who swept the grand champion and reserve champion places at the Palo Pinto County Livestock Show, over the weekend scored another banner at the National Western Stock Show in Denver.

Mauney took his Palo Pinto County grand champion goat to the Denver livestock show, where they won junior reserve champion in the heavyweight goat division.

There's hopefully more to come for Mauney and other Palo Pinto County youth. Scott Mauney, Zane's father, said there will be about 15 FFA and 4H youth and goats going to the Fort Worth Stock Show from the county.

Junior wether goat showing in Fort Worth takes place Feb. 2-3.
