MWPD reports recent property crimes

According to Mineral Wells police, a number of property crimes were reported over the past week.

• Police said a complainant in the 3000 block of Airport Road reported a 16-foot utility trailer was stolen from the property Friday.

• A complainant in the 1900 block of S.E. 12th Street reported a tire and rim valued at $100 was taken from the bed of a pickup truck at that location Friday, according to police.

• According to police, a complainant in the 200 block of S.E. 1st Avenue reported someone kicked in the rear door of a building on the property Friday and took about $2,000 in cash, a computer and unspecified files.

• Police said a complainant in the 600 block of Farm-to-Market Road 1821 North reported a bicycle valued at $79 was taken from the bed of a pickup truck parked at the business Friday.

• A complainant in the 500 block of N.W. 10th Street reported the battery valued at $70 was removed from a vehicle at the residence, according to police.



• Police said a complainant in the 500 block of N.E. 7th Avenue reported someone forced open the residence's rear door Tuesday and took a computer, jewelry and tools valued at a combined $150.

• According to police, a complainant in the 1800 block of S.E. 22nd Avenue reported two checks missing from a business checkbook Wednesday. Police said the complainant contacted bank staff and determined the checks were already passed for a combined total of $1,070.
