Thursday is Thanksgiving Day, a federal, state and local holiday. That means some important office and facility closings this week.
All federal, state and county offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Palo Pinto County offices will close at noon Wednesday.
The post office will be closed Thursday and reopen Friday. Banks will also be closed Thursday and reopen Friday.
Mineral Wells City Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Boyce Ditto Public Library will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday and remain closed till Tuesday.
City Gym will be closed Wednesday through Sunday.
Mineral Wells Senior Center will be closed Thursday and Friday.
There will be no trash collections Thursday. Thursday’s routes will be serviced Friday, and Friday’s on Saturday.
The Index will be closed Thursday only.
