According to Mineral Wells police, officers were dispatched to a home in the 1800 block of S.E. 12th Avenue Sunday in response to a call for service.
A female complainant notified police she thought someone was in her residence.
Upon their arrival, officers found the front door had been barricaded from the inside and they made entry into the home through a window.
After announcing their presence and searching the premises, officers found a male subject hiding behind a bed.
The complainant reportedly knew the intruder, though she told police he was not allowed in the home.
Police arrested Calam Lee Withers Sr., 31, of Mineral Wells, for evading arrest or detention.
